SEE is looking for a motivated and experienced Technical Packaging Manager to be part of our Liquibox team and report directly to the Regional Technical Manger with functional relationship with director of sales and has technical and engineering understanding, skills & attributes. This role will be responsible in project management, process interface and understanding, problem solving, decision making, competitor analysis, negotiation, communication, commercial acumen, market development, technical sales, customer relationship development, staff management, and cultural awareness in Asia-Pacific region. Why we need you?
Numerous numbers of years’ experience in a packaging development role, preferably from a flexible packaging, rigid packaging, food processing, or related industry to be able to perform responsibilities including but not limited to: Managing Service Engineers and ensure that workflow is planned and efficient. Accountability for Filler Sales and Technical support of Sales Staff for the entire Asia territory. Accountability to prepare and deliver filler sales quotes as approved and agreed with the Director Sales and Marketing for the Asia Pacific region. Act as Account Manager for Philippine market to ensure customers in the market receive correct support with a minimum of regular quarterly visits and business development. Support the wider Liquibox organisation, through ongoing liaison with Liquibox Sales & Marketing, Technical and Product Development personnel as agreed with the Director of Sales and Marketing within Asia Pacific and the General Manager Thailand to ensure that the whole company’s vision, financial and non-financial objectives are achieved.
Extensive knowledge of Quality Management System and understanding food compliance to have good collaboration with Quality team to deliver product and maintain the quality of it.
Extensive and demonstrated problem solving skills and can prepare written reports for customers and ensure that Asia customers’ filling equipment is adequately supported to ensure Liquibox continues to be seen as a full-service provider.
Good English communication skills and ability to travel will help ensure that you provide technical support to customers and Sales Staff through the Asia region to assist in gaining new packaging business.
