Safety Management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including those set by Vibrantz policy, local law and regulation etc.
- Promote safety culture in the site. Lead near miss case reporting, conduct safety observations (including unsafe act and unsafe conditions), the related root analysis and preventive actions on daily basis.
- Implement Vibrantz safety cardinal rules in the site. Train the team and conduct regular compliance audits. Follow up to make sure the team has corrected any workplace violations.
- Develop site PPE policy aligned with Corporate standards. Train and guide the team and visitors to always follow up with PPE policy to minimize any safety risks.
- Maintain and improve safety visual signs in the site.
- Ensures the maintenance of a well-stocked first aid and emergency center in case of an emergency.
- Submit permit applications and renewals.
Production management
- Production Planning and scheduling by setting up production targets, develop a daily production schedule, Requisition of materials which include packaging materials and Semi-finished goods and follow up on production schedule execution.
- Develop and monitor production standard operating procedures (SOP) and other internal business processes by reviewing the production manual, Reviewing the SOP/ methods, implement internal audits requirements.
- Provide leadership to the production Human Resource (staff) through determining manpower staffing levels and needs, avail staff requirements e.g. PPEs, handle staff grievances, develop skill matrix to ensure all employees in the production department have the required competencies, sensitize the staff on key processes and handle staff performance management e.g. appraisals.
- Promote 5S culture in the site, conduct 5S inspections on regular basis and related ranking/ awarding activities.
- Prepare, implement, and monitor annual budget, track and improve actual monthly plant spending efficiency and monthly spending forecast aligned with monthly plant activities. Develop annual, Capex project Implementation, ensure execution of preventive maintenance schedule for machines and equipment in production, ensure timely correction of machine failures and Follow up on critical spares, minor capital items availability
- Lead OEE improvement plans, provide data analysis and effective problem solving, including availability, performance, Quality KPI continuous improvements and innovations.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as maybe assigned from time to time by line manager or site leader.
Warehouse Management
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
