Order planning and management:
- AX implementation and link to development team for queries or ledger issues
- Work with sales and marketing for demand planning in order to order products efficiently
- Oversee a team to perform day to day operation of order entry from sales based field staff into AX system and through to third party logistics
- Oversee any pricing discrepancies or stock shortages
- Weekly and daily follow up on projects, closures on outstanding sales order, delivery schedules
- Refine order process and structures for enhanced efficiency
- Attend & resolve difficult customer's enquiries escalations
- Prepare & chair weekly meeting with management team reviewing back orders and full order book for year showing availability and pending stock requirements
Inventory management
- Manage inventory and order book
- Control of landed pricing in system and price master update
- Review all monthly order schedules for correct balancing
- Plan in inventory strategies for different categories - A,B,C & SLOBs
- Work closely with sales managers on SKU optimization, rationalization & SLOBs reduction planning
- Provide input on the monthly inventory meeting with region (ASEAN & APAC)
- Prepare stock write off schedules
Resourcing & vendor management
- Primary contact in business for all supplier relationships
- Overall accountability for resourcing existing products from current supplier to Assa Abloy approved supplier
- Work closely with APAC on vendor management from performance, pricing & payment term.
- From time to time review SKU purchase with multiple supplier to ensure we get the best benefit
- Manage supplier master file, terms, contracts
- Mange product claims and quality issues
- Organize supplier audit as when requested
3PL management
- Work closely with appointed 3PL in delivering agreed KPI - On time in Full, Inventory accuracy
- Resolve issues from both internal, external customers & 3PL
- Optimize pallet space holding in current set up
- Identify opportunities to improve current 3PL operation in warehousing, delivery & communication between stakeholders
- Minimize additional pallet charges through efficiencies
- 3PL billing and contractual agreements
Staff Management
- Actively look out for opportunities to improve efficiency
- Work closely with stakeholders in creating relevant SOP to operate
- Participate in regional initiatives as when needed
- Support local restructuring initiatives
- Team development and accountability
- Coach & mentor the purchasers in inventory planning & management
Measurables
- Direct Material ratio
- Cost down on suppliers
- Supplier rationalization
- Reduced stock holdings and required provision
- SLOB liquidations
- Optimized ratios of Fast, slow, non-moving
- Successful implementation and control of new pricing structures
- Implement direct and indirect procurement process with target all orders through procurement
- Reduce daily payable outstanding
- Material through put time (MTPT) and stock coverage
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant field
- 8 Years of experience in Supply Chain
- Has experience managing a team for atleast 3 years
- Fluency in oral and written English and local language
