Job Title: Content Moderator Team Lead

We have a client from Mainland China who is establishing a content moderation team for their upcoming application. We are currently seeking a Content moderator QA (Quality Assurance) to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Thai and English, ensuring effective moderation and quality assurance for the platform, and have prior experience in the same field.

  • Ensure high-quality moderation by consistently applying guidelines and standards in content evaluation. This involves maintaining accuracy, consistency, and fairness in the moderation process.
  • Stay updated with platform policies, community standards, and legal regulations to effectively identify and address content violations. You will play a crucial role in enforcing and upholding these policies to maintain a safe and inclusive online environment.
  • Training and onboarding of new content moderators, ensuring they understand the guidelines, policies, and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to moderators, answering questions and addressing concerns related to content moderation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Community Manager, to address emerging issues, improve moderation processes, and share knowledge and best practices. Assist in responding to user inquiries and providing support when needed
  • Adhere to agreed turnaround times and maintain a high standard of quality in reviewing reported content
  • Make well-balanced decisions, serving as an advocate for our community and upholding social media's mission.
  • Utilize market-specific knowledge, signals, and insights to identify scalable solutions for improving community support.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose effective solutions for optimization.
  • Recognize trends and patterns, promptly escalating issues outside the scope of company policy to the global team.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in both English and Thai (Written and Spoken) is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in content review.
  • Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven prior experience in content moderation or quality assurance is mandatory.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Work Location: Office-based (after initial remote training)
  • Shifts: 24/7 rotational shifts
  • Shift Duration: 9 hours per shift
  • Work Schedule: 5 days working with 2 rotational days off (no set holidays)

Please note that this position requires working rotating shifts to ensure round-the-clock coverage. After the initial training period, the role will be office-based in Bangkok, Thailand.
