OVERVIEW:

  • Plans and lead the overall new product commercialization align to APQP procedure and support material localization activities. Improvement of current products to drive on cost reduction. Ensures that all activities are in compliance with organization goals and applicable regulations.
  • Provide engineering service, develops and maintains all technical aspects to all customers and clients in the proper application of automotive and industrial PT products.
  • Responsible for people development in part of product knowledge transfer, project management skill, problem solving skill to cross functional team and provide technical support to all colleagues.
  • Responsible for analyze, solve customer complaint that related to product & application problem.

THE ROLE

Plans and lead cross functional team to achieve new product commercialization and material localization timeline on all manufacturing product lines under AFF, AR, IFF and IR market segments. Monitor development cost to reach within budget control. Provide technical support and solve the issues that relative to product& application, field complaint and maintain quality level of manufacturing products

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
:

Accountability #1: Financial Performance

  • Develops and take as project leader for new product commercialization and support material localization to achieve target due date, trouble shooting, conversion to gates R&D team for any additional technical support require for new project. (30%)

Accountability #2: Fix the Core

  • Responsible for analyze, solve the customer application problems. Provide technical support to team members related beside with product knowledge transfer periodically. (15%)
  • Investigate and re-solve work-in-process product or material problems. Recommends improvement solution. (15%)

Accountability #3: Accelerate Growth

  • Supervise and tests machinery and equipment in part of process design, consistent with engineering perspective and specifications. (15%)

Accountability #4: Operational Excellence

  • Responsible for product technical specification release and other technical documents control. Establish technical drawings according to customer requirements or meet design specification. (15%)
  • Compliance and implementation with applicable company HSE policy, law & regulations, ISO14001 and ISO45001 management system.
  • Compliance with company IATF16949 and ISO9001 requirements to follow company procedure, working instruction and other registered documents in management systems.
  • Compliance with HR policy, government regulation, employee handbook etc.
  • Other tasks or duties as direct supervisor assigned.

Accountability #5: Build the Team

  • Provide the coaching to team, product and application knowledge for all automotive& industrial PT product application. (10%)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires Bachelor Degree of Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years direct experience of new product development activities.
  • Requires a high degree of technical project management and ability to convert technical matters to language understandable to non-technical audience.
  • Requires the ability to apply an analytical approach to evaluating a variety of complex or novel problems and to develop favorable solutions.
  • Must possess the ability to design and conduct training seminars and make presentations.
  • Works well with people, effectively handles conflict and demonstrates flexibility in work style to accommodate changing priorities and fixed deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, capable of seeking quality solutions and continuously focusing on process improvements, while keeping the needs of the business in the forefront.
  • Must possess strong project management skills as well as planning and organization skills.
  • Proficient in latest MS-Office tools, AutoCad & Solidworks tools as minimum and web-usage tools.
  • Effective communication skills both written and oral English.
