Job Description
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data, company expenditure, cash flow, credit review and application, overdue listing and banking facilities
- Produce and ensure company financial reports or statements and accounting records are correct, accurate, and that every transaction complies with company policy, local tax regulation as well as statutory requirements
- Manage the month end, quarterly and annual financials (P&L, BS and CFS), business consolidation system reporting and preparation for annual audit
- Ensure that all closing activities are completed on time according to closing schedule with all records properly reconciled
- Preparation and maintenance of statutory records and reports, filling annual returns (Financial Statements, Tax returns, VAT etc.)
- Ensure compliance with internal control objectives, local GAAP's and Financial Policies and Procedures
- Prepare board of director's material relating to financial information
- Review corporate income tax calculation of the company including PND.50 and 51
- Prepare tenders documentations and all deal sheet P&L for decision making
- Coordinate with business/operation for yearly physical inventory count and physical fixed asset count
- Coordinate preparation of work papers for annual audit and cooperates with requests for information by the external and/or internal auditors
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent
- Good understanding and skills of financial/accounting system and software, i.e. SAP, BW as well as technology and productivity tools including MS Office, Excel & PowerPoint.
- 8 to 10 years of progressive financial and accounting control experience or background preferably in the automotive industry
- Demonstrated financial and accounting control experience with global multinational companies
- Candidate with experience in human resource and office administration or a start-up environment will have an added advantage
- Highly analytical, proactive, forward-thinking and solution-focused
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence, build strong relationships work with non-finance colleagues and collaborate cross-functionally
- Structured and driven personality with high integrity, strong perseverance and desire to always improve
- Ability to work independently in a flexible, dynamic and multi-cultural environment and to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in both English and Thai language is required
