Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance works according to instruction from Mechanical Supervisor level up to complete task per schedule.
• Daily observe plant equipment and report to Mechanical Supervisor when found equipment abnormality
• Responsible for the field working area housekeeping and keep workshop clean.
• Maintain mechanical tools to be always in proper condition.
• To understand and follow Blooming and TA schedule.

Increase the maintenance work efficiency and effectiveness, develop technical knowledge to be equipment expert, knowledge and awareness, in order to deliver the best maintenance execution, reliability and safety.

General Responsibilities

• Maintain Company Health and Safety standards/regulations to minimize the risk to themselves and other persons.
• Conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner and promote a good image of the company.
• Ensure that all requests or instructions as conveyed by the management; in relation to duties, policies and procedures are completely carried out.
• Support and actively contribute to the development of Covestro-MTP initiatives such as Safe and Sound Society/Project APACT, additional assignments and special projects.
• Comply with Covestro’s Corporate Compliance program and observe its principles in daily work.
• Support Covestro-MTP Management Systems activities such as Core process, HSEQ system, 5S System, and Covestro System.
• Demonstrate and develop subordinates in Covestro leadership behavior in order to nurture the mind-set and encourage the desired leadership behavior.

Qualifications

Diploma in mechanical or related field

• Minimum 0-2 years in mechanical workshop field and plant maintenance.
• Able to work Corrective and Preventive Maintenance jobs.
• Able to use maintenance tools and maintenance reporting.
• Able to read parts assembly drawing and understand to create spare parts for machine component.
• Able to use Microsoft program.
• Able check spare part in SAP and withdraw from W/H.
