Job Description
- Sourcing new capable suppliers to support business unit in Southeast Asia.
- Negotiate with suppliers in terms of quality, price, and delivery time.
- Assist supervisor in quarterly / yearly supplier assessment, yearly frame contract negotiation.
- Calculate and plan material according to sales forecast.
- Implement purchasing procedure (issue PO, sign contract, delivery confirmation etc) .
- Assist to manage quality complaints and implement compensation with suppliers due to quality defects, delayed delivery.
- Working with other departments such as quality, engineering, maintenance and plan to ensure that customer requirements are met.
- Assist supervisor in procurement and management of investment and expansion project.
- Responsible for supplier management.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree or above, with technical or engineering background is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and/or supplier quality engineering department. Fastener experience is preferred.
- Strong Fluent English and Chinese is a plus.
- Good communication, time management, analytic and negotiation skills.
- Able to read technical drawings and good Office level, ERP experience required.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as being a good team player and leadership.
- This position is located in Thailand office but subject to travel upcountry and abroad for business matters as required.
