Talent Development
- Design and Coordinate to develop leadership development initiatives including Training, role rotation, stretch assignment, etc. for strengthening leadership succession and talent capability as per long term business strategy.
- Create required training road map plan for the plant factoring business needs by collaborating with stakeholder through budgeting exercises and execute the same along with your team. The Plan should entail capability development for both indirect and direct staff.
- Build career progression model to suit the long-term business strategy and employee engagement in the plant.
Employee Relation and Health & Safety
- Determine and create plan to address employee relations strategic risks, execute mitigation plan for smooth functioning of plan to maintain harmonious employee relations.
- Own and drive pandemic safety initiatives along with EHS department; ensure compliance with any guidelines / mandates as applicable.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure 100% statutory compliances under various applicable Thai Labor Laws for the plant. Work with various statutory and government bodies to proactively address requirement / actions.
- Support customers or internal audit for process / people practices and implement Good labour practice within the plant.
- Co-ordinate with Government Authorities, Advise and recommend Management in connection with litigations if any.
Employee Engagement
- Build and Drive employee engagement initiatives to create continuous learning organization and improving employee experience within the company.
- Execute CSR activities as per the Plan and establishing required relation with external parties.
Stakeholder management
- Work with ASIAN (predominantly Chinese, Japanese and ASEAN) leadership to finds innovative solutions for various business problems and business expansion plans.
- Keep all stakeholder informed through multiple forums like Operation review, APAC HR leadership review, BU reviews on Plant HR Initiatives - status and forthcoming actions.
- Update Stakeholder with Monthly Reports on headcount, payroll, Talent Management, training, Attrition, Continuous Improvement process & metrics.
- Keep the leadership updated about the upcoming HR initiatives and execution status of the current initiatives at hand.
- Train Managers and Employees on HR tools and processes on timely manner.
Compensation and benefits Management
- Month on Month flawlessly execute payroll on time with necessary inputs and insights.
- Conduct market benchmarking exercises in collaboration with global rewards team.
- Assist leadership and manager with right job evaluation / Description and Global job framework level assessment and guide them on the same.
- Administer and manage employee benefits program like Insurance, Canteen, transportation, uniforms, Safety assistance aspects.
Recruitment
- Assist the Plant Manager and Operation head on creating Manpower plan as per the business strategy and flawlessly execute the same.
- Work with Plant Manager and department manager to fill positions within the plant.
- Conduct suitable actions before position are filled based on exit analysis of any replacement and present the exit analysis report to the management.
- Build and Maintain working relationship with contract staffing vendor. Train the vendor on company HR system to onboard and offboard contractors. As per need conduct vendor evaluation to add more staffing vendors.
Qualifications
Minimum work experience required –
- 12+ years of HR Experience in manufacturing / MNC environment, with 3-5 years’ experience Managing plant of 500+ employees
- Business Management/Social work/ Human Resource graduate; Post graduation is a plus
- Should have worked in Multinational company as this role demands a lot of collaboration with Japanese, American, Chinese and Indian counterparts.
- Should have strong MS Excel and Ms Powerpoint knowledge; along with user experience knowledge of HR ERP tools.
- Should be Proactive, strong-minded, quick thinker and assertive and open for change.
- Able to Manage a team of 3 members and motivate the team, recognize good talent, and bring out the best out of each individual.
- Should be result oriented with strong influencing skills, able to communicate with all levels of management and peers within the organization.
- Strong working knowledge of Employee relation for large factory, compliances under different labour law, managing factory administration, HR Practices – Recruitment. T&D , Compensation management, Performance management etc.
- Any experience in Great place to work or Employer branding exercise is great plus.
