Responsibilities:

Job Overview: As the Business Development Manager for the Lazada consignment model, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Lazada's platform team and category managers, identifying and onboarding potential consignment partners, and driving revenue growth through effective strategies and collaborations. You will play a crucial role in expanding our consignment program, optimizing product placement, and ensuring the overall success of our partnership with Lazada.

Responsibilities:

Partnership Development: Identify, prospect, and build strategic partnerships with brands, manufacturers, distributors, and sellers who are interested in the consignment model on Lazada.
Collaborative Strategy: Work closely with Lazada's platform team and category managers to understand trends, market demands, and opportunities for product placement and category expansion within the consignment program.
Onboarding and Negotiation: Lead the negotiation process with potential consignment partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions while achieving the company's growth objectives.
Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing consignment partners, providing exceptional support and maximizing their performance on Lazada.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of consigned products, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize sales and profitability.
Job Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications(must have):

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience in business development, e-commerce, or strategic partnerships, preferably within the e-commerce industry.
Familiarity with the Lazada platform and an understanding of the consignment model is highly advantageous.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed business decisions.
Results-driven and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Fluent in English is required.
