Physical Security & HSE Manager, Thailand

MAIN PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Director of PSHSE South Asia Oceania (SAO), the Manager – PSHSE, Thailand (TH) is directly responsible for the Thailand Market on the planning, execution and management of the group/ regional/ local physical security directives, policies, and procedures with an overall objective, to protect the security and safety of employees, and safeguard corporate assets and its reputation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Security & HSE
- Actively seek and promote an appropriate level of communication and deliver a collaborative, business partner approach to all stakeholders (brands, boutiques, support functions, external partners/ suppliers);
- Support the implementation of the physical security related aspects of the Group Security Policy and it’s Minimum Standards.
- Proactively and strategically working with vendors on ensuring KPI’s and SLA are agreed and delivered;
- Elevate the wider organization’s PSHSE awareness and knowledge of PS & HSE guidelines;
- Leadership in coordinating all internal/ external parties to deliver PS & HSE initiatives and objectives.
- To be kept up to date for all regulatory matters and maintaining a subject matter expert revolving all PSHSE Topics
- Proactively address all HSE topics to ensure the sites, activities and employees are of legal compliance to the different regulations within the laws of Thailand.
- Proactively manage ENHESA or any other Group procured Legal Compliance tools deployed.
Boutique/Facility Project(s)
- Review all physical security, health, safety and environment aspects, topics and requirements of all Richemont boutiques and facilities.
- Lead, conduct and review all risk assessments (PSHSE Topics) for all Richemont Boutiques and facilities, ensuring PSHSE concepts are duly submitted and documented.
- To collaborate with Store Planning & Design (SDP) and Back Office Services (BOS) teams to ensure appropriate execution of physical and technical PS & HSE measures;
- To design, source and coordinate with 3rd party security vendor(s) for the implementation of security system
Retail/Function Operation & Events
- Business partners with stakeholders to ensure all Richemont Boutiques and Facilities are of adherence of Group Security PSHSE Minimum standards, PSHSE Manuals, policies and PSHSE Concepts
- Lead and influence and educate all TH Employees on Group Security PSHSE Minimum standards, Manuals, Policies and guidelines;
- To conduct annual reviews / assessments and audits to ensure continuous compliance;
- To manage all PSHSE elements such as guarding, security equipment and other PSHSE service providers to support day to day operations for Retail / Richemont Sites.
Training
- Deliver a series of training material for different target audiences, conduct regular reviews to assess training requirements, develop and deliver training to elevate and enhance over security awareness and compliance to standards.
- Work together with the Senior Manager PSHSE, SEA, to schedule and maintain training calendar & schedules for all PSHSE topics covering all employees within TH Market with the assistance of other PSHSE team members in the region.
Incident Management & Crisis Support
- Monitoring risks for incoming and/or outgoing business travelers, ensure coordination with stakeholders and issuance of advisory in consultation with SAO PSHSE Director and the IMT Team;
- Ensuring that emergency response plans are available and tested for emergencies, such as adverse weather, fires, crime, or other identified threats;
- Ensuring that all Thailand Incident Management Teams are set-up, maintained, trained, and exercised to coordinate the response activities in the event of a major incident;
Security, Health, Safety & Environment Incident
- Provide proactively lead and support all PSHSE related incident and recovery period.
- Provide timely and accurate response on security related incidents including reporting them on Group Security Tools;
- Professionally lead, conduct and produce PSHSE related investigations reports including gap analysis, recommendations and corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences
- Ensuring all PSHSE investigations conducted are ethically and legally adherence to local regulations and the SAO Investigations Framework.
Relations with external security suppliers
- To collaborate efficiently, effectively, and ethically with external security suppliers/vendor/service provider, including but not limited to sourcing, performance review and cost controls.
- To lead and manage all service providers ensuring solution are provided to address business needs for Richemont and it’s Maisons business activities.
Other Duties
- Maintain data, information, drawing(s), and document(s) related to PSHSE Topics not limiting to all Richemont sites, events, certifications with the support of Senior Coordinator for PSHSE SAO;
- Compile accurate reports and presentations, either regular or ad-hoc basis;
- Proactively building relationships with local law enforcement authorities and mall management;
- Other duties relating to PSHSE Topics as instructed by Director PSHSE SAO
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University Degree or above, preferably in physical security, security risk management;
- Board certified ASIS PSP or CPP would be an advantage;
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in leading Physical Security, Health, safety and environment responsibilities regionally, preferably in managerial position and/or in luxury retail industry;
- Work experience in MNC preferred;
- Individual must possess strong communications, interpersonal and lateral leadership skills in order to nurture professional relationships amongst all stakeholders
- Independent individual must be capable of operating strategically within a dynamic region coupling with a complex and matricular business environment.
- Adequate knowledge and experience in security operations and project management, electronic security systems, security risk assessment; working / operational knowledge of Health, Safety and environment.
- Proficient digital savvy skills (e.g. MS Office, MS Visio, AutoCAD, Adobe tools).
- Proficient in English and Thai language is ideal to manage the local market and business stakeholders
