Position: Construction Manager
Type of Hiring: Permanent
Working hours: 6 Days/Week
Location: Sattahip, Chonburi
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- To plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. Who will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the projects.
- To ensure our business's accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions.
- To supervise and provide construction projects from the concept to completion.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- To Coordinate and manage construction workers and subcontractors
- Select tools, materials, and equipment and track inventory.
- Meeting contractual conditions of performance.
- Review the work progress on a daily basis.
- Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- To construct in accordance with the environmental management system plan.
- To promote understanding and realization about the environment for all employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in Construction Management.
- Over 10 years of working experience in SMP work in a Refinery/Petrochemical plant, Minimum piping 50,000 DB work.
- Understanding of Piping Work, Planning, cost, and Scheduling.
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes means and methods.
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
- Familiarity with construction management software packages.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems.
- Good command of English (Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
